The South Oxford Community Centre’s art activities, including exhibitions, events, workshops and art classes, are managed by South Oxford Arts, which is part of the South Oxford Community Association.
Artweeks
Saturday & Sunday 20th, 21st, 27th, 28th and Bank holiday Monday 29th May 12.00-6.00pm
As part of Oxfordshire Artweeks.
With art in various forms from acrylic to oils and charcoal to watercolours. Along with the art, there is a cafe and cards to buy with many works available as a print to take away on the day.
Craft items and refreshments are available
Evening event with music and more: Saturday 20th May, 7–10 pm

South Oxford Arts: Exhibitions
In addition to our long involvement with the annual Oxfordshire Artweeks festivals, South Oxford Arts often runs other exhibitions at the Centre. These include displaying the work of local artists but also the recent exhibition of the work of George Bissill. Please see our Exhibitions Archive for details of past exhibitions.

Creative Drawing
Introducing a new art class to the South Oxford Community Centre. This is a tutored session with local artist Jim Robinson and they are held regularly. If you would like to be added to the Art Classes list please contact the office.
All classes are held from 2.00-4.00 pm.

Life Drawing
Monthly classes are normally held on Saturday 2-5 pm for £15.00 per person. Over 18’s only.
